About Da Refill
Da’ Refill Show, the weekly podcast show of the Christian Hip Hop and Gospel music industry, recently celebrated its 1st anniversary. As the show has grown over the months, including 2020’s innovative, re-vamped format in response to the worldwide pandemic, the show has expanded to include a wide range of artists, DJs, Promoters, and Influencers representing the full scope of today’s CHH music. Da’ Refill started as a podcast showcasing CHH movers and shakers broadcasting from Little Rock, Arkansas
Industry veteran and show host Ron Daniel, Artist and C.E.O. of Divine 7 Entertainment, is the original planner of the Da’ Refill Show. Even though he couldn’t have predicted how the podcast would grow over the years, he’s been excited to see firsthand how the Da’ Refill Show has grown to be one of the premiere CHH podcast today.
“The idea to start a podcast came to me amid the 2020 global pandemic,” Daniel says. “After praying about the right time to start, God led me to build a robust studio specially designed for podcasting. Once the podcast started, it was a matter of just learning the podcast process, navigating, and searching throughout the world for artists, DJs, promoters, and influencers of the CHH culture to come on and share their experiences with our audience.”
Ron Daniel’s relationships and commitment to artistic excellence made a lasting impact on the industry. Throughout his career, Daniel won numerous awards and was nominated for many more. He continues to expand his creative footprint, including expanding Da’ Refill Show into the radio space and more. When asked how he feels about his legacy, Ron Daniel is humbled, summing it up perfectly. “It’s an honor to be part of something that has lasted so long.”
